April Meeting - Five Secrets to Being on the Keeper Shelf

  • Willow Glen Community Center 2175 Lincoln Avenue San Jose, CA, 95125 United States (map)

Some books stay with readers forever, earning a spot in their hearts and their homes. Why can't yours? Our own Jen Graybeal will discuss how memory works, story elements that stand out, the powerful magic of ambiguity, and much more.

Bring your work in progress
We will be doing some writing practice so identify a scene in your current work where a secret is revealed, a character has a realization (big or small), or represents a turning point in the story.
